The small all inclusive hotel with 104 units/suites is quietly located in western Crete in the small town of Gerani / Platanias. It is 4 km to the larger village of Platanias. To the pebble beach 300 m. The extensive beach is uncrowded and only a 5-minutes´ walk away. Showers, loungers and parasols on the beach free of charge for hotel guests. The small, comfortable hotel is a good starting point to explore the green west of Crete and its nature reserves. Plan in advance your holiday with us and book your excursions. We recommend the day hike through the Samaria Gorge, the longest and narrowest gorge in Europe. The small day cruise to the Balos lagoon and the day trip to the south coast, visiting the Chrissoskalitissa monastery and swimming in the Elafonissi lagoon are also worth a visit. You can book these excursions together with your hotel-booking.
Facilities
The small 4-star comfort hotel has an interesting architecture (like a ship's hull, it was newly renovated in 2017 and is under new management. There are several buildings. A lounge with TV corner, air-conditioned restaurant. Cozy lounge bar with sea view. 2 Pools, one with an integrated children's pool, sun terrace with loungers and parasols included. The hotel has a gym room, parking lot (massages for a fee). Check in from 2 pm, check out by 12 noon.
The 4-star hotel has a total of 104 spacious rooms/suites and comes with a 24-hour reception, a safe (free of charge) and a car park (free of charge)and a restaurant. Pamper yourself with a cocktail in the lounge bar in the upper floor with sea view. Wi-Fi is available to hotel guests free of charge.

The tree ring analysis of this ancient tree demonstrated the tree to be at least 2000 years old, scientists from the University of Crete have estimated it to be 4,000 years old. Vouves is a mountain village in a beautiful green western Crete. + For swimming and snorkelling to the small rocky baAfrata The Bay of Afrata and its mountain Village Afrata is located in western Crete at the Rodhopou-Peninsula. Approximately 7 km from the larger coastal town kolimbari. Below the village is a path that leads to the pebble beach. This small pebble beach is popular with the locals offering best conditions for fishing and snorkelling.
