Preveli – Palm-Gorge for this tour you have 2 possibilities: you take the excursion boat from the coastal town Plakias to get to the end of the Gorge. You can hike up the gorge. Or you start from the Monastery Preveli from the north and hike down through the Palm-Gorge – Preveli to the beach.

The Olive Tree of Vouves Visit the natural heritage monument The Olive Tree of Vouves and the small Museum of Vouves. The tree ring analysis of this ancient tree demonstrated the tree to be at least 2000 years old, scientists from the University of Crete have estimated it to be 4,000 years old. Vouves is a mountain village in a beautiful green western Crete.
