It is an easy walk with a height difference of 120 meters. Starting Point is the Village Mesavlia and descends in the village Deliana. Several communities are fighting over the naming of the gorge, which is why this gorge in Crete has different names. We just call Deliana, like the next village at the entrance. In front of the gorge is a large parking lot. The Deliana Gorge is located 7 km southward of the coastal Village Kolimbari. Walking in the gorge is very easy and is suggested even for children. It is only a 2 hours walk from Deliana to Mesavlia and return. It is a water-rich gorge with old plane trees and oaks. At the beginning, the first 2 km, it gets rocky.
