Samaria Gorge for health reasons, you can take the ferry from Coastal village Sfakia to the exit of the Samaria Gorge "Agia Roumeli". Agia Roumeli is a car-free place that can only be reached by ferry. The famous narrowest part of the Gorge is easily accessible from the bottom in Agia Roumeli. This short hike from the exit to the narrowest point and back to Agia Roumeli takes about 2 1/2 hours.
